New Gaza show for kids

Here's a new show for kids in Gaza. In this episode, a little kid murders Bush as revenge for the death of his parents. Note that this is from the official Hamas television station. Are they really fooling anyone when they say they want peace? It's things like this that show Hamas systematically brainwashing their children into becoming killing machines. In my opinion, there's no doubt they intend on dulling their children's sense of violence in order to further the conflict.

I think the only people that believe they want peace are the people who aren't listening to or watching their propaganda. They obviously don't want peace--they want to kill Americans, Israelis, and all those who fight with them. They are definitely weakening their children's revulsion of violence. They are also showing their children that it is all in the name of Islam: they're giving their cause a purpose that Muslim children can be confused about. I don't think that the parents of the target viewers are teaching their children to do this, and that's why they have a TV show. If the parents were teaching their children to hate, then Hamas wouldn't have to have a TV show--the parents would teach their children. I think the same problem runs there that runs in America. The parents let their kids watch TV the same way parents in America let their kids play video games. They don't always monitor the content or the rating. It's not that the parents want their kids to be involved in that, its just that they don't watch what their kids are watching and playing.

That is disturbing. If there was any doubt before that they may have a good cause, this video proves that they do not. Hamas is a terrorist group, there is no way around it. They do not have good intentions, and they seem to have few if any legitimate causes and values. If they really wanted peace then they would not be encouraging the next generation to continue down the violent path. Violence levels would be very low in the younger generations if Hamas was trying to achieve peace in the coming years. Clearly, this is not the case.

This almost made me sick. Such blatant disregard for human life is just insane. And teaching this to small children is reprehensible. There can be no doubt that they are trying to make sure that the kids, the ones that will fill the ranks of their armies and suicide bomber lines, are not only accustomed to violence, but see it as a good thing. Radical Islam glorifies violence, and this proves that Hamas has no intention of a peaceable agreement.

The problem with saying that shows like this mean that Hamas is definitely against peace is that Hamas is not a unified and controlled organization. It's a hodgepodge of sorts and the leaders do not have control of all the individual factions and members. I'm not saying that they're peaceful and benevolent, I'm just saying that don't be too quick to judge every member. Remember, some Israeli's do some pretty terrible stuff, but we believe that as a whole, they're for peace.

Hamas believes they are fighting a legitimate war for a legitimate cause. They see their land being taken away by a regional superpower and they desire to stop it. Just like any side in a war, Hamas utilizes propaganda to their benefit. We are all guilty of doing this. All of us. Maybe in different ways, but all societies at war do what they feel will help their cause. This does not mean that Hamas doesn't want this conflict to end. THey, again like all parties, want it to end on their terms.
